作者介绍
维克多·雨果，法国19世纪伟大的诗人、剧作家、小说家、散文家，浪漫主义文学运动领袖，人道主义的代表人物，被称为“法兰西的莎士比亚”，在法国和世界文学史上享有盛誉。雨果一生写过多部诗歌、小说、剧本、各种散文和文艺评论及政论文章，创作历程超过60年，作品合计达79卷之多，给法国文学和人类文化宝库留下了辉煌的文化遗产。其代表作有：长篇小说《巴黎圣母院》、《悲惨世界》、《海上劳工》、《笑面人》、《九三年》，诗集《光与影》，短篇小说《“诺曼底”号遇难记》。1830年，28岁的维克多·雨果开始奋笔疾书他的“命运三部曲”之一《巴黎圣母院》，这部小说被誉为“法国浪漫主义历史小说的杰作”和“浪漫主义文学的里程碑”，为他跻身法国以至欧洲最重要的作家行列奠定了坚实的基础。
